Ice Skating

Today, freshly sharpened skate blades cut the pristine ice in front of the Kulm Country Club as the excitement and memories from the 1928 and 1948 Olympic Winter Games resurface by watching the new generation twirl and spin. The rejuvenated Saint Moritz Skating Club welcomes skaters back to enjoy an exciting skating experience.

Proficiency & Certificate

The club is structured to give clients a clear and professional learning path, wether with basic skills for beginners or a personalised elite training for athletes.

The basic skills are the foundation of the sport. The introduction of fundamental moves: forward skating, backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, and turns. Upon completion of the basic levels, skaters will have a fundamental knowledge of the sport, enabling them to advance to more specialized areas of skating.

The Elite Training is aimed at skaters who are following a competitive path. Coaching on jumps and spins and a competitive program. Depending on your progress, different proficieny certificates await the students.

The courses are run by our ice skating instructor Valentina Persico, enabling female participants to take part in lessons offered by a woman.
